American Italian Food Coalition Releases New "At the Table" Conversation with Italian Ambassador Marco Peronaci

Ambassador joins AIFC Co-Chairs Susan Molinari and Lucy Calautti for conversation on U.S.–Italy relations, trade, the Mediterranean Diet, Italian culture and his first year in the United States.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The American Italian Food Coalition (AIFC) today released the latest installment of its digital interview series, “At the Table with Susan and Lucy,” featuring His Excellency Marco Peronaci, Ambassador of Italy to the United States.

Hosted by AIFC Co-Chairs Susan Molinari and Lucy Calautti, At the Table brings together leaders from government, business, food, culture, and public life for conversations about the issues and traditions that strengthen the enduring relationship between the United States and Italy.

In the new episode, Ambassador Peronaci discusses his family background and distinguished diplomatic career, his impressions of the United States, and the deep affinity Americans continue to have for Italy and Italian culture. The Ambassador also shares his perspective on maintaining strong and open trade between the United States and Italy as well as the Mediterranean Diet model.
